Lorna sorting and hanging up clothes

The clothing room is open every evening. All clothing that is donated to the House of Refuge Mission is given out free of charge to those in need. Seasonal clothing is always in demand. During the winter months, warm outer-wear, mitts, snowboots and toques are needed. Jeans, T-shirts, underwear and socks are needed year round. Since many of the people who use the mission are homeless, blankets, sleeping bags and tarps are also in demand.

The Mission is always on the lookout for volunteers to help sort and organize the Clothing Room, if you are interested in helping in this area please contact Bob or Bill

The House of Refuge Mission is an Christian based independently run Inner-City Gospel Mission located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our focus is to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ and through our faith provide food and assistance for people who are suffering in many ways.
